I enjoyed going to the dogs  home but i felt sorry for the dog that were kept in cages.And some were really skinny.There were litle cats kept in small cages as well and they had nothing to play with.I was the one that came up with the idea because i wanted a dog. And a nother thing i didn’t like it was the smell all over the buillding.but over all it was good and there were some goood dogs there and some big ones as well.

Ther poor dogs, they are so nice and I felt very sad and upset because the dogs didnt have anyone to look after them. - Dyeana.

It was too scary! Because of the dogs, they were loud.  I saw the cats, they were cute. Cats are better than Dogs. - Shaimah

I LIKED IT A LOT BECAUSE THE STAFF HIRED MINI BIKES FOR US AND ALL THE MEMBERS HAD LOTS OF FUN

The Saturday club received funding to take the members to go karting tracks of their choice.

They raced at several different places including TeamSport in Crawley, which is pictured below:

We took 25 young people to Thorpe Park.  It was a really successful day and all young people managed to go on several rides suited to their preference.  The comments from the young people and volunteers are below:

It was a good trip - i went on the water ride and the rollercoaster i brought the photo as well because i liked it.  I also went on the banana ride with Mark - Jacinta Hall

I went on the flying fish and no way out, i had lots of fun - Ben Desa

I really liked the water ride called loggers leap also the Canada Creek Railway - i counted three bears.I liked going on the bumper cars - Jonah Bristol

Thorpe park was really good stelth was the best ride i went on. nemesses inferno was brilliant and exiting    -wilson santos

Good, i like the rollercoaster some of the rides scary but good.  I got wet on the water ride with Kimmy and Ben - Anahit Sarkisyan

i whent on the on a candre creekp and i enjoyed it and i weint on a tran and we cant how meny berrs they are  i when on the tran twice - Zoe Brien (Volunteer)

I had a good time i went on the water ride twice, banana ride twice.  I hurt my knee on the water ride, i was screaming to stop the ride.  The staff took me to the medical centre where they gave me ice.  I felt better after that.  I was very happy - Mark Dorey

THE BEST BIT ABOUT BLACKPOOL WAS GOING TO THE BEACH AND ENJOYING THE FRESHAIR AND I ENJOYED THE HOTEL WHICH WAS GOOD BETTER THEN THE HOTEL WE STAYED IN WHEN WE WENT TO ALTON TOWERS - TAMAZ YAVUZ

On the 25 of October 2008, The Saturday Club went to Drayton Manor. It was a very cold day and we went on every ride! The best ride was the veritcal drop ride and the shockwave. We arrived at 10am and could not wait to go on the rides! We spilt up into 4 groups and we ate lunch at 1pm.

We left Drayton Manor at 4pm and arrived back in London late at night. Later on, we will be uploading photos so you can view us on the trip!

Over the XMAS period we will be planning trips. Watch this space as we’ll be updating this section soon….
